About the role
Bolton Arena has been delivering high-quality recreational gymnastics for over 20 years, with over 500 children attending daytime, evening and weekend sessions. We are now seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced Head Coach to lead and develop our gymnastics program, ensuring all children, regardless of ability or motivation enjoy a positive and engaging experience.
The Gymnastics Head Coach will be responsible for leading and managing the recreational gymnastics program, ensuring high-quality delivery, safety, and progression for all participants.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and hardworking leader with a proven ability to motivate coaches and gymnasts while fostering a fun, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
Key skills
We are looking for the following essential qualifications & experience:
British Gymnastics (BG) Level 2+ qualification in General or Artistic Gymnastics (or equivalent).
Degree or Further Education qualifications in Sport, Leisure, or related field.
Attendance at Disability Awareness and Child Protection courses.
Proven experience implementing sports programs in schools or leisure centres.
Strong administration, budget management, and organizational skills.
A track record of delivering exceptional customer care and service standards.
